We always meet our guests at the airport upon arrival and escort them to the boat. After a long journey from home it’s a great relief to be welcomed aboard the yacht by a smiling and hard working crew. Our Cruise Director will give a brief introduction to everyone and help you settle into your rooms. Once everyone is on board, with a refreshing welcome drink in hand, it’s time for the boat to head out for the first destination. This is a great time to familiarize yourself with the boat and settle in. As a private cruise, all of the crew are there to help you enjoy your time aboard.

A very important fact to keep in mind is that every Samata trip is a private charter. There are no other guests aboard other than yourself and your family. This means that a lot of the schedule will have your input. Our team is onboard to make your trip the best holiday ever. This means that our Cruise Director will sit down with you to explain a potential plan for the week. But what sets a Samata cruise apart is that he or she will be asking for your input. Your interests for the cruise are our interests for the cruise.

We will discuss with you potential anchorages and routes based on weather conditions. We will also base them according to your interests. This means that if you want to do a lot of scuba diving we can adjust the itinerary to suit. Not interested in diving? That’s no problem either, this is something we will discuss with you each and every day. That way we can make a new plan each day as the trip progresses.

What Activities Are On Offer?

As a full service luxury yacht we offer a variety of different activities to keep everyone entertained. One of the most popular is scuba diving on the incredible reefs of Indonesia. We have plenty of dive gear on board to fit everyone. Not a diver yet? Not a problem, we have qualified crew on board who are more than happy to offer introductions to scuba diving in easy conditions. For younger members of the family and for non divers we can take them to some of the most incredible snorkeling spots. With a rich diversity of fish and coral, experiencing the marine life in Indonesia is a must.

Watersports and More

For those looking for a little more activity, we offer a lot of water sports on board. Water skis, wakeboards, and inflatable tubes are great fun to enjoy while anchored in a calm bay. With so many amazing landscapes in Indonesia, one of the most interesting ways to explore them is via kayak. We have both kayaks and paddle boards and we are always happy to help you enjoy amazing hidden coves and bays. If you prefer to let the crew do the work then that’s possible too! The crew loves creating perfectly crafted cocktails for our guests to enjoy a fun sunset cruise on the tender exploring the wonders of Indonesia. This is the beauty of a private charter, we help make your dream activities come to light.

Of course not every activity is on the water. Incredible vistas and landscapes are always on display. Komodo and Raja Ampat are home to wonderful hikes that take us to waterfalls, viewpoints, and even bat filled caves. When we are close to villages we often share theses local experiences with our guests who are eager to meet the local people. This is a fun way to learn a little more about how people in other parts of the world live their daily lives.

Incredible Dining – Private Charter

Back on board we offer a 5 star dining experience and of course a massage service. One of the main benefits of a private charter is the ability to decide when and where to eat! Our air conditioned lounge, with comfortable seating areas, is the perfect place to eat lunch during the heat of the day. During the cooler breeze in the evening we love to serve dinner on the foredeck. This serves as a beautiful spot to finish the day under the wonderful star filled sky.

Once the trip is coming to an end we always ensure we consult with you over your schedule. We escort our guests back to the airport or onward to a local hotel according to their plans. Departure day is always a sad day for both our guests and crew after building friendships during their stay. Of course we always hope to meet our guests again on another private charter!
